As per the G.O(P)No.28/2016/Fin dated 26-02-2016 wages of persons engaged on daily wage and contract basis were enhanced with effect from 01.04.2016. In the wake of this order, proposals from different Departments/Offices requesting to enhance the wages of various categories of staff who are not included in the order have been received by the Government.

After having examined the proposals in detail the Government have included the following categories of staff under the purview of the Government Order dated 26/02/2016. Government also order that all the guidelines stipulated in G.O. (P) No. 28/2016/Fin dated 26-02-2016 remain applicable without any change.
